In defense of the author, I would like to say that this bot is intentionally designed as a fully autonomous system. After pressing Start, no additional manual actions are required.
The cBot exposes very few user parameters by design. Core elements such as signal logic, volatility filters, time windows, and risk handling are hard-coded. This is not a limitation or setup issue, but a closed, rule-based architecture, not a configurable strategy framework.
Correct setup is confirmed if the bot starts without errors and generates log messages. Trade execution is conditional: positions are opened only when volatility, momentum, and internal time filters align. If conditions are not met, the bot remains inactive by design.
No trades does not indicate a malfunction - it reflects the bot’s selective, regime-dependent logic.
