Which market conditions does this bot perform best in (trend, range, high volatility)?
Hello.
This cBot is designed to perform best in strong trending markets — especially when price has clear momentum and direction (for example, on XAUUSD). The filters used (MACD + trend filter + ADX) are specifically built to capture moves that continue after momentum kicks in.
It will be less effective in sideways / choppy conditions, because there isn’t enough momentum for the entries to follow through — so in those phases it will either sit flat or risk faster stop-outs.
In simple terms:
Best conditions: trending markets with clear direction and volatility.
Weak conditions: ranging, low momentum, choppy price behaviour.
