You can set the amount you are willing to lose using the drawdown parameter. The algorithm shuts down and does not relinquish the position. It has protection against very high volatility; the algorithm closes the position whether in profit or loss and waits for the market to stabilize. Furthermore, it already has a stop-loss set per position.
