Hi, I installed Risk Watch plugin, but the next parameters show 0 all the time: Risk (for every position/exposition); Worst-Case Lost; Risk% of equity; Risk Meter. I trade with a demo.
Am I doing something wrong or I need some additional settings?
RegardsThanks for installing Risk Watch.
The Risk / Worst-Case / Risk% / Risk Meter values are calculated from Stop Loss-based risk. If a position doesn’t have a Stop Loss set, the plugin treats the worst-case risk as 0, so those metrics will display 0.
This works the same on demo and live accounts.
Please try setting a Stop Loss on your open positions (or configure your bot to always place SL) and the risk values will populate immediately.
Also make sure you’re in Account view (Strategy view only shows positions that have a Label).- Iivan73work
Hi and thank you for the answer. My trades are always with a StopLoss. Always!! And I am in Account View mode. When I click Strategy I get message "No open position found..."
Unfortunatelly Ctrader platform doesn't give an opportunity to send you a screenshot.
Currently I am with live account.
For the sake of clarity (if that matters) I open my positions straight in TradingView and the system with the broker automatically transfer them in Ctrader.
But my numbers are still zeros.
Regards,Hi Ivan,
Thank you for the additional information.
Since you confirmed that you are already using Account View and that your trades always have a Stop Loss, the behaviour you described should not normally occur.
After reviewing this, I identified an issue in the previous version of the plugin where SL-based risk calculations could return 0 in certain cases, particularly depending on how the broker reports symbol pip values or when trades originate from external systems.
This has now been fixed in the latest update. The plugin now calculates Stop Loss risk using cTrader’s built-in risk calculation (AmountRisked), which ensures the Worst-Case Loss, Risk %, and Risk Meter populate correctly across all symbols and brokers.
Please update to the latest version and the values should appear immediately.
Just for clarity as well:
Account View shows all open positions.
Strategy View only shows positions that have a Label (typically trades opened by a cBot). Trades opened via TradingView bridges often do not include labels, which is why Strategy View may show no positions.
If you still see zeros after updating, please let me know the symbol you are trading and your broker, and I’ll investigate further.
Thanks again for reporting it - it helped improve the plugin.

Hi,
After reinstalling it shows the details (not zeros). Thanks for fixing.
I trade only manually - bots only for help and statistics.
I was curious to buy your Trade Analytics Plugin.
Two questions about it:
1/ Is it possible to have the same problem (the zeros)?
2/ In your vision what is the best benefit of the plugin and that is better than the Risk Watch?
OK, became three questions :)
Regards,Hi,
Great, I’m glad that solved the issue and the figures are showing correctly now.
Regarding your questions about Trade Analytics:
-
Could the same “zeros” issue happen?
It’s very unlikely. That issue was related to how Risk Watch was reading open position data in certain situations. The newer plugins (including Trade Analytics) use a slightly different approach to reading trade history and have been tested across different account types, so the same behaviour should not occur. -
What is the main benefit of Trade Analytics compared to Risk Watch?
They are designed for different purposes:
• Risk Watch focuses on live trading risk. It monitors your open positions and shows exposure, worst-case risk, and floating PnL in real time.
• Trade Analytics focuses on understanding the quality of your trading edge by analysing your historical trades. It highlights things like expectancy, payoff structure, recovery strength, profit concentration and consistency.
Since you mentioned you trade manually, many manual traders find Trade Analytics useful because it helps answer questions like:
Is my edge coming from win rate or payoff?
Are my results dependent on a few big trades?
Is my strategy consistent over time?
You may also want to take a look at PnL Studio, which is more focused on visually reviewing your trading performance using a calendar-style dashboard and daily breakdowns.
So in simple terms:
PnL Studio → visual performance review
Risk Watch → live risk monitoring
Trade Analytics → deeper statistical analysis of your trading edgeEach tool focuses on a different part of the trading process.
If you have any other questions feel free to ask.

Hi, and thanks for the answer.
PnL Studio → visual performance review
Risk Watch → live risk monitoring
Trade Analytics → deeper statistical analysis of your trading edgeI have one question: if I buy the two paid tools, what bundle price could you offer?
In return, after a couple of weeks of using them, I will write a review based on my experience with the software and the clear and accurate communication with you.
Regards,Hi, I am always looking for people who are willing to provide feedback that can help to improve the tools further. Please reach out to me on telegram @AWTradesTG.
