One classic approach is a pullback strategy: waiting for price to break beyond ±2 standard deviations, then entering once it retraces to ±1 standard deviation in the direction of the prevailing trend. I typically apply this around the New York open, at 13:30 CST ( or 14:30 adjusted for Daylight saving). Anchoring could be set before London Open 7:00 or 8:00 UTC hours.
