Does the bot use martingale, grid, or cost-averaging methods?
The Moving Average cBot does not use Martingale, Grid, or Cost-Averaging methods as part of its core logic.
It is a Systematic Trading tool designed for precision entries based on the interaction between price and Moving Averages (Approach, Touch, and Break). Here is how it manages trades:
No Martingale/Grid: The bot is designed to open specific positions based on technical signals. By default, the Max Long/Short Positions parameter is set to 1, meaning it does not stack multiple orders or double down on losing trades.
Fixed Risk: Each trade has its own independent Stop Loss and Take Profit (which can be customized for both Long and Short positions).
Protection Tools: It includes advanced risk management features like Automatic Break Even and Trailing Stop to protect capital and lock in profits, rather than adding risk to losing positions.
In short, it is a trend-following and reversal tool, not a high-risk recovery system. For a deep dive into the settings or to see specific backtest configurations, feel free to join our Discord! https://discord.gg/Hh8Gmjd5uX
