Hello, I purchased and downloaded the bot yesterday. Unfortunately, I am unable to open any new instances; I keep receiving an error message:
"This algorithm was not found, or you do not have sufficient access rights." Could there be a programming error involved here?- In reply toan.co⬆:
Hello An.Co,
I would like to inform you that I have released Minor Update v1.1 for Uno Golden Dragon Pro.
This update specifically addresses the “Algorithm not found or insufficient access rights” issue reported during installation. The new build includes improved installation handling, enhanced permission registration, and better compatibility with cTrader’s caching system to ensure a smoother setup experience. Please uninstall any previous or trial versions before installing the updated file to avoid conflicts with cached platform data. Once installed, the issue should now be fully resolved. If you encounter any further problems, feel free to contact me directly and I will assist you immediately.
Best regards,
UnoTrader SupportHi, I've installed the new version, but the problem still persists; the error message appears as soon as I try to add a second instance.
Hello An.Co,
Thank you for the update.
Based on your description, the issue appears when launching multiple instances of the cBot. In cTrader, this can happen if the platform still references an older cached algorithm ID or if instance permissions are not properly synchronized after an update.
For this concern, you may need to contact cTrader Support directly, as this appears to be an internal platform-side issue related to instance management and access rights rather than the bot logic itself.
Please also ensure that all previous versions are completely removed before reinstalling the latest build.
Best regards,
UnoTrader Support

Hello An.Co,
Thank you for reaching out. I sincerely apologize for the inconvenience you are experiencing with the installation.
The error message, “Algorithm not found or insufficient access rights,” is a known technical behavior in cTrader. This typically occurs when the platform retains cached data from a previous version or trial file. To resolve the issue and ensure a clean installation of Uno Golden Dragon Pro, please follow the steps below carefully:
Step-by-Step Fix
-
Completely close cTrader to ensure no files are currently in use.
-
Open File Explorer and navigate to:
Documents > cAlgo > Sources > Robots -
Delete any folders or files labeled “Uno Golden Dragon,” including any trial or older versions.
-
Restart cTrader.
-
Reinstall the new
.algofile I provided by either double-clicking it or dragging it into the Automate tab.
This process clears the local cache and allows the platform to properly register the new Pro permissions.
Please let me know once you have completed these steps. If the issue still persists, I will immediately generate a fresh build to ensure your access is fully restored.
Best regards,
UnoTrader SupportHello,
Thank you for your fast response. I am using cTrader on a mobile device (Smartphone). On mobile, I don't have access to the local File Explorer / Documents folder as described in your PC instructions.
I have already completely uninstalled and reinstalled the cTrader app to clear all local caches, but the error "Algorithm not found or insufficient access rights" still persists ONLY for the Uno Golden Dragon Pro when trying to add a new instance on mobile. Other bots work fine.
Since the issue seems to be linked to my cTID / Cloud permissions for this specific bot, could you please provide the fresh build or reset my access rights as you mentioned?

UnoTrader SupportThank you very much for your reply. However, I also have multiple instances of other bots running, and the problem doesn't occur with them; that is why I am wondering if it might be due to the programming of this specific bot.

Does the bot use any AI/ML components, or is it purely rule-based?

The Uno Golden Dragon Pro is a rule-based, volatility-adaptive algorithm.
Unlike "black box" AI, it uses deterministic mathematical logic to ensure consistency. It utilizes ATR (Average True Range) to dynamically adjust grid spacing and Smart Money Concepts (SMC) for entry precision. This approach prioritizes execution speed and transparent risk management over unpredictable machine-learning models.
Thank you for reaching Uno Trader.
