Do you suggest using equity stops or global risk limits?
Hi, thanks for your message and for sharing your feedback.
Yes, I highly recommend using a global risk limit, and the bot is actually designed with this specifically in mind.
Because the strategy relies on hedging, pyramiding, and managing open cycles, temporary drawdowns are a natural part of the process before a cycle closes in profit. To protect your account from extreme, unpredictable market conditions (so-called "black swan" events), having a hard line of defense is crucial.
In the bot's settings, you will find the "Risk $" parameter. This acts as a global, monetary equity stop for the entire system. If the total floating loss of all open cycles reaches this dollar amount, the bot will automatically close all positions to protect your remaining capital.
